All are invited to bring their questions, observations, and ideas about teaching,
as well as copies of syllabi to discuss and share with others in an open-ended
exchange.

Concert by the Cleveland Orchestra
The Cleveland Orchestra's first concerts of the
season will take place the weekend of our conference. Conference attendees can order discounted
tickets for the Saturday evening performance, which will begin at 8:30 (due to the
Yom Kippur holiday). Music Director Franz Welser-Möst will conduct
Mozart’s Symphony No. 28 (K. 200); Five Orchestral Pieces by Matthias Pintscher
(U.S. premiere), and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6. The orchestra has generously offered
conference attendees a 15% discount on tickets (depending on availability, maximum 2 per person) in
certain sections of the hall. The
discounted tickets will range in price from approximately $27-45. Those wishing to purchase tickets can contact

who will send them the promotional code that will allow them to order their
discounted tickets from the Severance Hall box office either online (www.clevelandorchestra.com) or by phone
(800/686-1141). Severance Hall is
located on the east side of Cleveland
and is about a 45-minute drive from B-W (directions available at the
conference.)
